NEW!! EMS Course - EMS Provider Hygiene, Safety and Vaccinations

We always hear… wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.... Especially during flu season. Studies have shown EMS providers in general can do a better job with proper hygiene. According to the CDC, Practicing hand hygiene is a simple and effective way to prevent spreading infections. Cleaning your hands can reduce the spread of germs, including those that are anti biotic resistant. On average, healthcare providers clean their hands less than half the number of times they should. On any given day, about one in 25 hospital patients has at least one healthcare-associated infection.
